Awesomeness

Haters shake my hands but I keep the sanitizer on deck,
Yesterday the world turned but I stopped turning with it,
Now grinding to a halt is actually harder than you think, when upset
Yesterday the friction under my feet as my legs stood immovable
Lit a fire under between my toes, and is still brewing beneath my feet
I can't stand the rain, but somehow I manage to stand the heat
Managing the pain, I channel this energy from the spontaneous combustion
Nothing done in vain, harnessed properly I have a source of propulsion
I let my arrogance be the steam to power my dream
Its not necessary for you to believe, once I do it may seem
Remember, once I launch you will see it too, and you will also believe
Littered with counter arguments and despair I'd need a last bit of awesomeness
Glittered with bright ideas which shine for all to see, I'd need a last bit of awesomeness

Ken is a student of life. The subject of unique socialization between the rigors of childhood in a Christian household, a 'prestigious' secondary schooling and an early exposure to the ghettos of society. His ideals can be harsh on the mind at times and they represent a comprehensive but very original outlook on Trinidad and Tobago's 'red band lifestyle'. Read, listen and discuss if you dear.
